    Alibaba’s Alipay cooperates with Nokia

    Alipay recently established cooperation with Nokia in the latest development of China's mobile  payment service. The cooperation allows customers to charge and use their Alipay accounts via Nokia's mobile browser.  The will first be applied in Nokia's two new 1100 and 1120 models. Source: Chinanews

    China's Karaoke parlors are notorious for "value-added" services, including in-house hostesses that perform "Like a Virgin". Karaoke remains a popular pastime in the Middle Kingdom, but is eclipsed by new ways of socializing both offline and online. In attempt to combine the old with the new, a small Beijing company recently launched a mobile app that allows users to browse and share Karaoke performances by and with friends and strangers, as well as record their own.     Sina Weibo cooperates with Taobao

    Sina Weibo added “goods in the neighborhood” item to its mobile edition recently. Users can search for goods sold around them and purchase online. Currently this application is directly connected with Taobao.com and provides information of stores and goods in the neighborhood. Users can log in their Taobao account to buy and pay through Alipay. Before this, Sina Weibo has co-launched Wei shopping mall with Tmall and 360Buy that allows users to go from the official Weibo websites to the B2C websites of Tmall and 360Buy.
